Choosing a connector type
Connectors live under Settings → Data Connectors. There are three kinds, depending on how your data arrives.
| Type | Use it when… |
|---|---|
| File | You have a CSV or spreadsheet export to upload — a one-time or occasional import. |
| Pull | Edventory should fetch from your MDM on a schedule (currently Securly; more via custom builds). |
| API push | Another system or script should send devices to Edventory automatically. |
| Custom | Need a pull connector for an MDM we don't support yet? We'll build it for a flat $1,000 fee. |
