Questions districts ask

What counts as a device?

Actively managed devices โ€” anything with a status other than retired, deprovisioned, or lost. Your e-wasted Chromebooks never count against your plan, and consumable inventory (cables, chargers, parts) is always unlimited.

How does billing work?

Annual invoicing aligned to your fiscal year. We accept purchase orders and can provide quotes, W-9s, and sole-source letters for procurement.

What happens if we grow past our tier?

Nothing breaks โ€” we'll let you know you're over and work out the upgrade at your next renewal. We never hold your data hostage mid-year.

Can we pilot it first?

Yes โ€” the Free plan is a real plan, not a trial. Start with one school or one cart, take as long as you need, and upgrade only when you roll out district-wide.

What about student data privacy?

We operate as a school official under FERPA, never sell data, and run zero ad-tech or trackers. Read the full Privacy Policy โ€” we're happy to sign your state's student data privacy agreement.

What does early access mean?

Who answers support requests?

The founder. Edventory is founder-built and founder-supported โ€” every plan gets email support from the person who wrote the code, typically within one business day. Paid plans go to the front of the queue. No call centers, no canned replies.

How is this so much cheaper than the big names?

No sales team, no implementation fees, no per-module pricing. The market leaders charge per student and real contracts run from $8,000 into six figures a year. We'd rather be the tool every district can actually afford โ€” and our early districts keep their launch price for 3 years.
