Device custom fields

Track the attributes your district cares about (who a device is for, how it was funded) without waiting on a new column.

Under Settings → Device fields (administrators), define your own fields: text, number, dropdown, date, checkbox, and more. Every district starts with two dropdowns you can edit: Assigned user type (Staff, Student, Lab, Network Equipment, Kiosk) and Funding source (Grant, ESSER, Perkins, E-RATE, Department).

Fill in custom fields when you add or edit a device. Dropdown fields also appear as filters in the device table, so you can answer "show me every student device" or "everything bought with ESSER funds" in a click.
