Posting approved events to Google Calendar
Edventory can put every approved event on a Google Calendar the moment it's approved, and take it off again if it's denied, cancelled or deleted.
Connect Google Workspace
An administrator connects Google Workspace under Settings → Google Workspace, if it isn't already. In the Google Cloud project behind that connection, turn on the Google Calendar API (APIs & Services → Library). Calendar access is a separate permission: with the OAuth connection, click Grant calendar access under Events → Configure; with a service account, add https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events to its domain-wide delegation, pasting the full scope list (Google keeps only what's in the box).
Choose the calendar
In Google Calendar, open the calendar's settings, copy the Calendar ID under Integrate calendar, and share the calendar with the connected Google account using Make changes to events. Paste the ID under Events → Configure → Google Calendar and save. Edventory checks it can add events there before saving.
Per-room calendars (optional)
To send a room's events to its own calendar, such as a Google room resource calendar, add that calendar to the location under Locations. Locations without one use the district calendar.
Turn it on
Check Post approved events to Google Calendar. Upcoming approved events go up right away; from then on every approval is posted as it happens.
Each calendar event shows the title, location, start and end, the description and the requesting organization (or the requester's name when no organization is given). It never includes the requester's email, phone, attendance or setup notes.
