The catalog: your own trainings and series
The Catalog lists the trainings your district hosts. Teachers register themselves, with no approval needed, and can link the session to their school goal or one of their plan goals as they do. The hours land on their record once attendance is taken.
Add a session
Managers click + New session and give it a name, a host school and room, the date and time, the PD hours, the number of seats, a facilitator, what it counts toward, and the goal it supports. Its address defaults to the host school's. A principal adds sessions for their own school, and manages only those.
Group sessions into a series
Pick a series, or start a new one, on each session. The Catalog shows a series' sessions together, numbered "Session 2 of 4". A principal renames and adds sessions to a series only when their school hosts every session of it; a district manager handles a series that spans schools.
Register for the whole series
Teachers can register for every upcoming session of a series in one step. If a session they are not in yet is full, nothing is registered and the Catalog names the full session, so they can sign up for the others one at a time. Leave series cancels only the sessions that haven't started.
Take attendance
After each session, open Attendance on its card and tick who came. Attendees earn the session's hours and can print a certificate. Attendance and hours stay with each session, even in a series.
